Marybone is a community led voluntary organisation situated in the Liverpool Central Ward and exists to ensure the residents have a voice at all levels in identifying and responding to issues that directly affect them and the community.
The Marybone was established in 1985 and came about due to the amalgamation of three organisations. Its main activities were concerned with poor housing conditions, health problems and lack of youth activities in the area.
Marybone has since diversified so that now it is involved in a wide range of community support services and activities, working with children and young people.
We operate an open access, full-time centre and run a full programme of activities 52 weeks a year.
Marybone is constituted as a company limited by guarantee and a registered charity with a board of trustees made up from local residents and user groups.
